Hollandia Dairy

Hollandia Dairy is a family-owned and operated dairy farm that has been producing, processing and distributing award winning, farm fresh milk and nutritional dairy products to the families of Southern California since 1950.

Our Challenges

- Environmental regulations:
California has some of the most severe regulations when it comes to environmental protocols

- Onsite Vehicle Management: Hollandia Dairy maintains and stores their delivery vehicles on-site which creates opportunities for spills to occur regularly (i.e. fuel, oil, coolant, etc.)

- Food safety: Food handling facilities are subjected to tighter guidelines and restriction.

Project Task

Hollandia Dairy was looking to establish a first line of defense for sediment and debris control and filtration, while aiming to improve their environmental footprint.

They wanted to implement a containment solution for their loading area to tackle milk runoff and decrease response time when spills occur onsite.

Our Solution

After working closely with the CEO, Patrick Schallberger and several of his department heads, Spill Bully implemented multiple facility-wide solution to improve safety and reduce risk. They replaced their rigid containers with flexible drum packs, saving them both on storage and logistics. They also installed stormwater protection products and food prevention barriers onsite.
