Project Task
As a global aerospace, defense, and security company, Northrop Grumman strives to set examples and put their best foot forward when it comes to environmental practices. One of their internal initiatives was to create a uniform spill kit system.
They were also looking to outfit their hazardous waste storage facility with new secondary containment. The importance of decreasing liability while improving employee safety and efficiency remained a focal point as well.
Our Solution
After working closely with the environmental Health and Safety Team at their Miramar, San Diego facility, Spill Bully fulfilled Northrop’s environmental improvement needs.
They designed a custom storm runoff filtration system, incorporating both existing Spill Bully products, as well as custom-sourced solutions. Spill Bully upgraded their existing spill kits with a uniform Spill Kit System, including several large spill stations, built to handle the largest of spills and providing their has waste storage area with custom secondary containment.
